eXact Strip AL (for use with eXact^TM Meter)

The eXact™ Strip AL (481651) offers the safest and most convenient delivery system for your Total Alkalinity testing with the eXact^TM Meter. All reagents are precisely contained in the eXact™ strip pads.

Directions For Use:

Step 1: Remove one eXact™ Strip AL from the bottle. Recap the bottle immediately. Set strip in a dry place.

Step 2: Rinse supplied plastic vial 1 or 2 times and fill to line with pool water sample. DO NOT OVERFILL! Dry outside of vial with a soft paper or cloth towel.

Step 3: Lift the chamber lid and insert plastic vial. Close lid.

Step 4: Press the “Menu” key to switch the meter on. Press the “Menu” key twice to display the “AL” symbol.

Step 5: Press the “B” key to blank the meter to 0.

Step 6: Open the chamber lid and dip the eXact™ Strip AL into the plastic vial for 20 seconds with gentle back and forth motion as illustrated.

Step 7: Remove and discard the strip; immediately close the lid and push the “R” key. Read and multiply the displayed number by 10 (i.e., 20x10 = 200) for Total Alkalinity in ppm (parts per million). Record result.
